Accessibility statement

Our commitment

Brik is committed to making our marketing site and the Brik application usable by the broadest possible audience, including people with disabilities. We target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, and we follow the requirements set out in the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882) for services placed on the EU market.

Conformance status

We self-assess against WCAG 2.2 AA. At the date of this statement we consider the site and product to be partially conformant: we meet most Level AA criteria and are actively closing the remaining gaps as part of our ongoing product work.

Measures we take include:

• Keyboard navigation for all interactive elements, with visible focus outlines.
• "Skip to content" link on every page.
• Support for system dark mode and for the prefers-reduced-motion and prefers-contrast media queries.
• Semantic HTML landmarks (header, nav, main, footer) and correctly nested headings.
• Colour contrast tested against WCAG AA thresholds for text and UI components.
• ARIA labels on icon-only controls and live regions for status updates.
• Form inputs with associated labels and accessible error messages.

Known limitations

We are aware of the following limitations and are working to address them:

• A small number of complex data tables in the operator console do not yet expose row-selection state to assistive technology.
• Some long-form content (changelog, docs) has not yet been audited for reading-order by screen readers on every device class.
• Third-party embeds (e.g. analytics opt-outs, payment flows) are assessed against the provider's own conformance claims; we surface issues to those providers where they arise.

Assistive technology and browser support

We test primarily against the latest two major versions of Chromium-based browsers, Firefox, and Safari, in combination with current versions of NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver. Older browsers and assistive technology may work but are not regularly validated.

Enforcement

If you live in the European Union and are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate to the competent national authority responsible for enforcing the European Accessibility Act in your member state. A list of designated authorities is maintained by the European Commission.
